Sting and Shaggy captivate the crowd - Sold out at Forte Arena for the two artists' 44/876 tour...

The pop-rock soul and the overwhelming energy of reggae light up the Forte Arena in Santa Margherita di Pula (Cagliari). A sure success and a sold-out crowd of 5,000 attended the concert that opens Sting and Shaggy's "44/876 Tour" in Italy. Among the audience were a few celebrities such as Luciano Moggi, Fiorello, and Paola Cortellesi. A duo that captivates the audience, Sting's mellow voice and Shaggy's warm timbre create a delightful alchemy. A meeting of the intimate and refined style of the former Police frontman and the charm and sensuality of the Jamaican rapper's Caribbean music.

A magnificent crescendo, a blend of melody and rap, virtuoso passages and sensual dances. A great connection and a strong desire to have fun emerged between the two artists in their duets, where hip-hop and reggae influences gave a spicier, livelier flavour to the poignant and emotional rock ballads. The setlist featured some Police hits—"Message in the Bottle," "Walking on the Moon," and "Every Breath You Take"—which the audience sang at the top of their lungs. Other songs from Sting's solo albums included, from "Englishman in New York," which opened the set, to the intimate atmosphere of "Shape of My Heart," the romantic "Fields of Gold," songs from Shaggy, "Angel," "It Wasn't Me," and "Don't Make Me Wait," and "44/876," which gave the tour its name.

The enthusiastic audience responded with applause and cheers, and they embraced the enthralling energy by dancing in front of the stage. At the finale, the stage was all Sting's, who delivered a final, magical solo on the tune of "Fragile." The tour continues for seven more dates on July 28th in Rome, the 29th in Verona, the 30th in Naples, the 1st in Taormina, the 3rd in Ascoli Piceno, the 4th in Trani and the 5th in Cattolica.
