Sting performs at Formula Austin...

On Saturday, November 16, 2013, Circuit of The Americas hosted a performance by internationally acclaimed artist Sting at Austin’s ACL Live at the Moody Theater. Sting gave an epic performance to a sold out venue in a very intimate VIP-style setting.

Sting appeared on stage at 9:30pm and performed a full eighteen-song setlist including 'Message In A Bottle', 'Roxanne', and 'Englishman in New York'. ACL Live at the Moody Theater, a 2,200 person capacity venue, was warmly decorated in celebration of Sting's performance at this Circuit of the Americas Formula Austin event. Sting's two-hour set was split evenly between Police hits and solo offerings. Despite having performed these songs hundreds of times during his career, Sting gave a fresh and energetic performance to an appreciative audience of both Austinites and out of town visitors in honor of the Formula 1 races. Notable highlights were Sting's extended version of 'Roxanne' and some fantastic solos by each accompanying musician.
