Hatoslottó celebrates its 30th Birthday with iconic artists.
Szerencsejáték Zrt. is a dedicated supporter of the Hungarian cultural life. Therefore we invite everyone to a grand celebration. Iconic artists Sting and Shaggy are giving a free concert next Saturday on 24 November at 6 pm at Budapest’s Heroes Square to celebrate the 30th birthday of one of the Hungarian lottery games Hatoslottó. The warm-up act will be Punnany Massif. Organisers expect tens of thousands of people to attend the Superconcert.
The first Hatoslottó lottery show was organised in 1988 at the end of October. Initially it was held every month, then every two weeks, and later on every week. Back then the price of the tickets were 10 HUF. The biggest lotto jackpot ever in the history of Hatoslottó was 3 billion HUF which a lucky winner claimed in 2008.
Szerencsejáték Zrt. finances the Hungarian National Film Fund by automatically derive 80% of its tax revenue earned by the Hatoslottó lottery game. In 2017 this amount was 4.4 billion HUF. The lottery company also finances the National Cultural Fund of Hungary. The revenue of the Fund is the 90% of the game tax levied on Ötöslottó lottery game. In 2017 this amount was 10.5 billion HUF.
