Let me seeeee. . . 60 years. So if Sting goes the full 125 years, which is quite probable, he isn't quite at the mid-point unless, of course, we consider a 5 year way point of wonder followed by another 60 years. As long as he doesn't pull some kind of Benjamin Button on us the future looks great.

This has been such a joy!
Im not a techie really, and before this "Sting 25 Years" stuff I'd hardly ever posted a peep here on site. However, the fun of it all..25 years of our FAV ARTIST...,the joy, the strong emotions, & happiness we have all recieved from Stings music can all be celebrated here, and it has been a pleasure to read the dailys, try the contests, and catch up with all things Sting. So proud of him, and feel happy to be a FAN!!!

Timeless albums
Both Nothing Like The Sun and The Soul Cages are timeless albums, which touch the soul and make me think & reflect about life... Wouldn't like to live without these songs. Thank you Sting!

The Soul Cages
Sting is a very beautiful and profound CD succeeded.
With this, for me new knowledge about the origins of the songs, I see the CD now from a different perspective.
Losing someone is always bad, and tragic. How we react and deal depends on the circumstances. Sting has found a way for themselves to process his grief and accept.
A good friend told us a nice set:
If I die, grieving. But not too long, because life is too beautiful and too short.
I'm in your thoughts always with you.
I think at this rate we should remind ourselves again in a funeral, it helps to overcome the loss.

My Fave album
It warmed my heart to hear Sting say that The Soul Cages is his least understood album. I get it, I get how painful it was for him to make it.
For me the subtlety and the contrast of the dark and the light, shows both sorrow and hope. I lost my Mum in 1991 so for me it is very poignant.

I sudenly feel sad! I lost my father 9 years ago and I can understand what Sting feels!
The Soul cages is definitely my favourite album !

ah the memories of some great sting moments! i hope sometime in the near future we can hear sting making a new pop/rock album, although in todays market it would be difficult for sure. but here's hoping...
