Cherrytree Management and Live Nation and Village 42 have confirmed that Sting: My Songs will tour Europe next summer with very special festival and concert appearances scheduled, including a return appearance at JARDIN SONORE FESTIVAL  in Vitrolles - France on July 27. Additional tour dates to soon be announced.
 
Sting: My Songs will be a rollicking, dynamic show focusing on the most beloved songs written by Sting and spanning the 16-time Grammy Award winner’s prolific career with The Police and as a solo artist. Fans can expect to hear “Englishman In New York,”“Fields OfGold,”“Shape Of My Heart,”“Every Breath You Take,”“Roxanne,”“Message In A Bottle”and many more, with Sting accompanied by an electric, rock ensemble.

The Jardin Sonore Festival has just officially revealed the name of the artist who will headline its second edition.

One of the most iconic musician to headline the next edition of the Jardin Sonore Festival : STING.The world renowned artist will perform in Vitrolles next July, as part of his European tour "Sting : My Songs".

Sting’s presence in Vitrolles is a unique opportunity for the Festival Jardin Sonore, as he will only perform 4 shows in France, and only one in the South-East of France.

The crew of Village 42 Production and the city of Vitrolles, who jointly organize the event, are happy to welcome such an acclaimed international star at the Jules Ladoumègue Stadium, on Saturday July 27, 2019.

"After a successful first edition in 2018, which saw more than 3000 attendees at the Domaine de Fontblanche, we can’t wait to see this iconic figure of the international music scene perform a totally unique show which will go down in the history of Vitrolles", said Alexandre Langlais, director and programmer of the festival.

We already know that Sting’s summer tour will give pride to his most popular songs. Accompanied by a rock band, the artist will revisit songs from a prolific career which spans over 30 years.

Fans will have the privilege to listen to some 80s’ hits of The Police like "Message in the Bottle", "Walking on the Moon", "Every Breath You Take" or "Roxanne", as well as the biggest hits of his solo career like "Shape of My Heart", "Englishman in New York" or "Fields of Gold". 

TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE AS DECEMBER 19 AT 10 A.M.

After a sold-out show of Johnny Clegg, in 1988, with 18.000 people, the Jules Ladoumègue stadium will vibrate again, this time thanks to Sting’s hits.The two bands who will play as Sting’s opening act will soon be announced. 

Tickets will be on sale as of Wednesday December 19 at 10am., on the Jardin Sonore Festival’s website and in all the usual outlets.Less than 10,000 tickets should be available, in two categories : seats or standing.

There will be a Sting.com members presale commencing at 10am, Tuesday December 18 until 9.59am on Wednesday December 19. (all times local)
