STING, JOHN FOGERTY, SNOW PATROL AND MORE TO BOSPOP 2019

The first eighteen names for Bospop 2019 are a fact. Amongst others Sting (July 14), John Fogerty and Snow Patrol are on the podium next year in Weert. This year Bospop does not have two but three festival days with a complete program on both stages. The 39th edition of the festival takes place on Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Event Center A2 Weert Noord. The ticket sale starts on Saturday 22 December at 10.00 am via www.bospop.nl and www.ticketmaster.nl.
 
Also confirmed for Bospop are: Nile Rodgers & Chic, Skunk Anansie, Kodaline, Richard Ashcroft, The Charlatans, Matt Simons, My Baby, John Butler Trio, Living Color, The Specials, Foreigner, Level 42, Al McKay's Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Wille & the Bandits.
 
The musician who starts in 1977 as a member of The Police grows over time into the legend we know as Sting. When his work with The Police and his solo albums are added together, Sting has sold nearly one hundred million albums during his impressive musical career. His hits and best work will be heard on his My Songs tour. Expect to hear Englishman In New York, Fields Of Gold, Every Breath You Take, Roxanne and more.
 
The iconic John Fogerty needs almost no introduction. The singer, guitarist and songwriter can not be ignored from American music history. His hits Fortunate Son, Proud Mary and Bad Moon Rising immediately evoke colorful images of the impetuous sixties and seventies. John Fogerty is Grammy winner and is on Rolling Stone's lists of one hundred best guitarists and best singers of all time. His songs are obligatory for both the seasoned classic rock connoisseur and a new generation of music lovers.
 
Make sure you have a lighter and a box of tissues with you for the performance of Snow Patrol, because you will need them. If a song is synonymous with the term 'lighter ballad', then it is the epic Run of this Northern Irish / Scottish rock band. And those tissues are ideal for drying the tears when Gary Lightbody and his friends play the ultra-romantic Chasing Cars. But also the songs of the most recent seventh album Wildness are more than worth it - and live is Snow Patrol at its very best.
 
Dozens of international artists perform on Bospop, divided over two stages: the main stage and a tent stage. This year, Bospop starts on Friday and therefore does not know the festival two but three festival days with a complete program on both stages. There is a cozy campsite with the necessary facilities, a 24-hour tent and an atmospheric festival market.
