The video for “One Fine Day," the new single off Sting’s recently released pop/rock album 57th & 9th, was directed by James Larese. The animated style of this video is a nod to Sting's own iconic "Love Is the Seventh Wave" video from his 1985 album, The Dream of the Blue Turtles.
Sting said, "One Fine Day is my satire about climate skeptics. I sincerely and passionately hope that they are right and that the majority of scientists in the related fields of research are all full of baloney, and for that... perhaps we'll all be grateful... one fine day!"
In celebration of the new album, Sting will kick off his 57th & 9th world tour next month where he will be joined by a 3-piece band including Dominic Miller (guitar), Josh Freese (drums) and Rufus Miller (guitar) performing in clubs, theaters and arenas. Special guests include singer/songwriter Joe Sumner as well as San Antonio-based Tex Mex band, The Last Bandoleros. Full tour itinerary can be found on the Tour page.
