An Evening With Sting To Benefit The Public Theater In New York City!

For the first and only time, Sting will perform songs from his new album, The Last Ship, for 10 concerts to benefit The Public Theater in New York City from September 25 – October 9. An evening of music and storytelling in the intimate, 260-seat Anspacher Theater, these performances will offer unique insight into the creative process of both the new album, to be released September 24 (internationally on September 23), and his forthcoming play of the same name, premiering in 2014. All proceeds will benefit The Public Theater.

In keeping with Sting's longstanding tradition of hosting special events for his official fan club, in addition to these 10 performances, 100 Sting.com members will receive free tickets, selected via lottery, to attend a very special concert in celebration of his birthday on Wednesday, October 2 at The Public Theater. A limited number of tickets to attend the 10 benefit concerts have been allocated exclusively for Sting.com Fan Club members to purchase in advance of the general public on-sale. The Sting.com Fan Club member pre-sale will begin Saturday, July 13 at 12PM/EST and conclude Sunday, July 14 at 8PM/EST. Members must purchase tickets by phone at (212) 967-7555, using the special code that may be found on your member profile page.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Sunday, July 14 at 10:01PM/EST at http://www.publictheater.org/content/view/296 and at the box office or by phone at (212) 967-7555 beginning Monday, July 15 at 12PM/EST .

i called at 12n on sat and could not get thru and then called back at 1330 and all the $250 tickets were sold out and then called today mon to order tickets thru the theater and there was only $750 tickets and the only contest is from england-IM SO UPSET!!!i live in ny out on long island and soooo wanted to go to this!!! when is the usa contest going to happean-fan club members for ALL shows should get more than a breck--they should be in the first rows and should not have to pay a fortune!! after all---we are his loyal fans and really want to be there!!!!!!!

just spoke to the Theatre very very few tics available starting tomorrow under the $750 price. VERY disappointed. Fan club members should be ale to buy tickets that don't cost $1500 for 2. Not happy

all the lower priced seats are sold out as of this morning and the pre-sale didnt even happen yet! Gonna call anyway but not hopeful. :(

Wonderful. yet another con "test" Airfare included? I may break the fast. Had tickets for 60th but couldn't get a flight. Sans regrets!!!
